What I've been reading recently

BOOKS

There have been some wonderful giveaways in my recent newsletter emails (if you don’t receive the emails, sign up on the pop-up menu on this site - you’ll get a free ebook too! Another giveaway coming up in May) You can purchase your own copies at your local bookshop - or use the links below.

For my review of GRACE-FILLED MARRIAGE, one of the best books I’ve ever read on marriage, see this blog post. The book is out May 7th. I wish every married couple and every couple preparing for marriage could read this! It’s probably one of the best books on marriage I’ve ever read.

I’ve just finished THE THORN OF TRUTH, by Sue Russell, and thoroughly enjoyed, much as I have others by her. Highly recommended and also publishing in May.

The first of Sue’s that I read was THE HEALING KNIFE, partly set in France so that appealed to me; well written, it’s about a doctor and her journey of life, wanting fulfilment but also revenge. The faith aspect isn’t pushy, just a part of everyday life. Some of the characters from The Healing Knife have their stay continued in this new one, The Thorn of Truth, but you don’t have to have read it first to enjoy this one.
