A GIVEAWAY for Christmas

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS

It's Autumn - or Fall depending on where you live. The clocks are about to fall back, anyway, and I for one will be glad of the extra hour in bed! It's been a busy few weeks since the end of summer, has it not? But now we can turn our faces towards the celebratory times that my American friends call THE HOLIDAYS. Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, New Year. Log fires, cosy warm throws, hot comforting drinks, long (dark) evenings to relax and enjoy with twinkly lights …. what’s YOUR favourite thing about the next couple of months?

BOOKS AND A GIVEAWAY

This gorgeous little hardback gift book has just arrived! Full of new ways to reflect and pray through the Christmas story, it’s a treasure to have, to give, and to return to year after year, whether to be used as an Advent devotional or perhaps through the 12 days of Christmas.

There are beautiful, simple paintings to use as aids to your prayers and meditations; thoughts and ideas to ponder; and suggestions for going deeper in new ways. I love it and have bought several copies as Christmas presents this year!

BRF, the publisher, have generously sent a copy as a giveaway!

If you’d like to be in with a chance to win it, sign up on the annoying popup menu on here to join my email list, and the details of how to enter will slip into your inbox on Sunday afternoon Oct 31st telling you how to enter!

RUMMAGING FOR GOD

Have you ever rummaged around looking for God?

I'm thrilled and privileged to be a guest writer on Amy Boucher Pye's website this week. You can find it here and read how Lorna's life was altered as she rummaged!

And yes - that IS my untidy kitchen drawer. Read the article to find out why it's so relevant.
